The teardown

Step 1 of this project is to tear down the G4 Cube internals, leaving an empty chassis. I followed the ifixit guide here to get started. It doesn’t go as far as I needed though but it’s pretty straightforward to work out the rest.

What’s next

The Mini fits quite nicely inside the chassis but it needs a mount to keep it secure. I’ll need to measure up a mount and get it 3d printed.

I’ve also stripped down a usb-c slot loading bluray drive which will need a 3d printed mount.
